MAIN AREAS

E-FUEL
Energy production

In-house energy generation

<2 MW methane and methanol fuel currently used for steam production line

Could alternatively be used for transport fuel

FURFURAL
ArbaX

Used for various wood products

Pre-sold full capacity from ArbaOne to TFC. Examples of use for the end products are thermoset polymer matrix composites, cements, adhesives, coatings and casting/foundry resins.

BACKGROUND

Arbaflame has produced arbacore since 2010 at full scale test plant

GRASMO TEST PLANT

Differentiation between batches to gain insights of different production properties

Fine-tuning of the production process to optimize production.

Testing various raw materials (soft, hard, gum etc.)

Extraction of bi-products providing considerable value creation.

TImeline

2010-14

Product testing and development for coal substitution

2015-17

Production process

optimization

2015-19

Commercial proof of concept and bio-chemicals extraction

2019-21

Construction of ArbaOne, first full scale commercial plant

2022

Commercial sales of ArbaCore pellets to the European market

FUTURE

Scale production, also utilising low-grade feedstock

Mature and verified technology

Arbacore tested and verified at

14 full-scale power plants operated by 9 different utility companies in Europe, Japan USA and Canada

Three R&D projects with funding providing significant upside

EXTERNALLY FUNDED R&D

projects

ArbaCore

Verification of biomass replacement of coal fired CHPs

Testing, demonstration & verification setup of small demonstration unit using different types of feedstock/ waste products from forestry & agriculture as feedstock

ArbaRaf

Chemical optimization

Increase output of bio-chemicals from condensate and washing of the biomass after the steam explosion process to ~35% of mass loss for different types of feedstock

ArbaFeed

Feed Protein extraction

Optimization of process parameters to demonstrate that enzymes from wood sugar can grow to single cell proteins for fish food

Arbaflame has a strong team executing the R&D programs
